We took our popular Breakfast Learning series on the road last week. Jonah Group hosted our Blockchain Breakfast in Detroit on January 11th at the Southfield Westin Hotel to an audience of VIPS in the Michigan state.
Drew kicked off the presentation with a primer on blockchain technology to an inquisitive and interactive audience. He followed it with an overview of our various real-world blockchain projects. Then, Jeremy led the attendees through hype-free discussion on the state of the blockchain industry and the often-neglected business considerations. In addition to the token exchange platform, Benny impressed the audience with the proof of concept MediBlock demo. Shown with live interactions via laptop and smartphones, this demo showcased how blockchain could provide patients the ability to grant access of their eHealth records to medical practitioners, at a granular level.
The presentations were well received by enthusiastic invitees, and the event marked another successful outing in our Breakfast Learning series.
