Jane Trebilcock
Senior Project Manager

About Jane

My passion in high school was chemistry and like every good 16-year-old, I changed my mind and went into Finance. Working in financial services for 30 years introduced me to project management and I have never looked back. I love that project management allows me to get involved in a variety of industries, technologies and the most exciting part is working with people and seeing how the project evolves throughout the lifecycle. I have to say, the people at Jonah Group are fabulous. Everyone knows that there is always someone in the room that gives you grief, causes you stress, at Jonah I have yet to find that person. This comes from the co-founders, they are personable, smart and they treat everyone as an equal. It is refreshing to be at an organization that values the thoughts and ideas of everyone – even the quirky ones! Plus, I love Salad days! 10 years ago, I was introduced to Iyengar yoga, and it changed my life. I always thought yoga was about lying around on the floor and stretching – too slow for me – well attempting arm balance asanas definitely piqued my interest and challenged my preconceive thoughts about what yoga was all about – definitely not lying around! The best part is when my fitness crazed family is in awe of my yoga practice. A few years back a friend convinced me to try an art class at the AGO, how hard could abstract painting be? Let me tell you, I created some interesting pieces during that time, one could even say they were ‘interesting'. I still attempt to paint and even have things on the wall at home to remind myself to continue to step outside of my comfort zone and of course have a laugh! A personal accomplishment was landing in Porto, Portugal and finding my way to my apartment without getting lost. Most interesting place you've ever travelled to: I think the most interesting place I have been in is Cairo, seeing the pyramids and climbing through one was an experience I will never forget. The history and wonder that surrounds them is unbelievable. Favorite go-to lunch spot: Salad King has always been a good lunch spot.
